Big Schloss Hiking Trip
I went on a hiking trip with a group of students from the college I work at. It was a beautiful day, bright blue sky and the leaves were just starting to turn colors. I wore a pedometer and we clocked 11,030 steps! Woot woot! We did the top section of Big Schloss in Edinburg, Virginia, which took about 3.5 hours round trip with a good long rest at the top. It was two miles each way from our starting point, but you can also start the trail farther down the mountain to make it closer to four miles each way. Beautiful day and a great group.
